    Asia Holiday Retreats are a premier luxury holiday villa rental company that offer luxury holiday villas with a 5 star service. We also arrange various types of retreats as well as full wedding planning and packages. Our portfolio of hundreds of villas, all handpicked by our very own specialists, means that our talented villa consultants are ready to help you find your ideal villa whatever your desire or occasion. Most of our villas are equipped with a private pool, butler, maids, and personal chefs. And with every stay, our guests are assigned one of our very own personal concierge who will arrange anything from drivers, restaurant bookings, or simply give advice on where to visit.     Asia Holiday Retreats is the brain-child of two Australian childhood friends who, after spending 20+ years in their respective industries (villa rental management, and 5 star hospitality) decided to join forces to create a luxury villa rental company.

  3. Can you help me find a villa?

    Absolutely, we actually want to help you find the best villa to match your requirements. We often say that “The big booking sites do everything possible so they don’t have to talk to you. We’re the opposite, we want to talk to you!”. Call our friendly villa consultants on +62 361 370 1000, or drop them an email at [email protected]. Then once we know what you need, we will help you find that perfect villa.

  4. What is your Best Price Guarantee?

    Quite simply, if you find one of our villas cheaper somewhere else (excluding special promotions) then we’ll match it. Just contact our team and let them know.

  5. Can we book a villa but not use all the bedrooms offered?

    Yes. Depending on the season, many of our villas can be rented at a reduced rate if you don’t use all the bedrooms. This is noted on each villa page’s rate section. For example, Villa Waha is a 4 bedroom villa that can also be booked as a 3 bedroom villa. And it will display in our search results whether you search for 3 or 4 bedroom villas in Bali. Please note, that during high or peak seasons, many villas do not allow this option.

  6. If we book a villa but don’t book the full amount of bedrooms, is there a chance someone else might be using the other bedroom(s)?

    No. In this scenario you are still booking the entire villa even though you won’t have access to the other bedroom(s). An exception is Villa Impossibles, our special 6 bedroom clifftop villa that is also available to book by single bedroom.

  7. Why should I rent a private villa for my holiday?

    Our handpicked collection of private villa’s will are designed to give you a luxury stay during your holiday or honeymoon. They can accommodate entire families and groups or friends, giving you a secluded and peaceful space to enjoy by yourselves, with the added benefit of 5 star hospitality from the personal staff at the premises. The rate typically includes the villa, all of its amenities and, in most cases, a dedicated team. Even the most luxurious of villas can be more cost effective than a hotel as you will always be paying for the villa (not per person) therefore you can share the cost between your group.

  8. Where are your villas?

    Most of our villas are based in Bali as that’s where we began. We’ve since added a selection of villas in Phuket and Samui in Thailand. And, more recently, Sri Lanka. Our villa specialists are continuing to scour Asia for more quality additions to our portfolio and plan on adding Philippines to our collection soon.

  9. Is staying in a villa more expensive than a hotel?

    The luxury villas in our portfolio are often priced much less than a hotel of the same standard and quality. And when you consider all the benefits and services that comes with booking a private villa, you’ll realise that villas offer superb value for money. A quick comparison could be to compare the price of booking 3 rooms at a 5 star hotel and compare that to booking a 3 bedroom villa. We believe that staying in our villas is similar to staying in a 5 star hotel, but with added privacy and personalised service through your very own staff.

  10. What are your Luxury Retreats?

    He have spent a very long time designing and creating specialised luxury retreats that are suited to large groups on an adventure. We offer an exclusive range of golf trips, surf adventures, health retreats, and more. These are also suited to corporate groups and, like everything else we offer, can be customised to your needs.

  11. Do all of your villas include staff personnel?

    Most of our villas come with their own staff which is noted in each villa listing page. For sure each villa will come with it’s own maid service and at the very least. And most villas will also have their own team which can include a chef, driver, gardener, or butler. Sometimes this is included in the price, sometimes this is an additional cost so you can add these services on at your own discretion. Whatever staff or services you wish to add can be organised with ease, just mention this to our villa consultants when you’re making your booking.

  12. What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

    For most villas, a 50% deposit is required within 3 days of booking in order to hold a villa. The remaining balance of your payment is required 40 days prior to check‐in to your villa (during low-high season) and 70 days prior to your check-in (during peak season). Once your booking is confirmed, cancellation will result in forfeiture of your deposit. And cancellations less than 35 days before your arrival (during low season) and 60 days before your arrival (during high-peak season) will result in forfeiture of 100% of your total reservation costs unless otherwise mentioned in the confirmation letter.

  13. Do you offer courtesy hold for a villa?

    Yes we can, depending on the circumstances, we can offer a courtesy hold of 72 hours, often without any financial obligations. Our villa consultants will explain this at the time of your enquiry.

  14. Are all holiday villas child-friendly?

    Well, that depends on the villa you choose. For villas that are we’ve classified as ideal for families with young children, see our Child-Friendly villa collection. Some other villas might have a restriction on child guests due to safety concerns. Therefore, it’s always best that you inform us if there are children in your group so we can help you choose the ideal villa for your stay. We handpick all our villas and they all must pass our quality-assurance checklist before they can be added to the Asia Holiday Retreats portfolio. And we our helpful team of villa consultants will also arrange additional requests (e.g. pool guards) to make sure your villa is safe and secure.

  15. How much does it cost to rent a private holiday villa?

    We have villas to suit all budgets and types of traveller. Where most of our villas cost around USD400-USD500 per night, we have smaller villas at from only USD150 per night, as well as extremely high-end luxury villas at USD6500 per night.

  16. Is there a minimum night stay to stay in a villa?

    Yes, most of the time there is, and it varies depending on the villa and owner. You can find the minimum stay details in the Rate section of each villa’s page.

  17. Is a villa a good idea for a honeymoon?

    A private villa is an exceptional idea (and an extremely popular choice) with honeymooners. Villas are private and spacious and most come with private pools and hot tubs, and many are incredibly romantic. We’ve even created a dedicated collection of honeymoon villas for you to browse through.

  18. Will we have a private chef?

    It depends on the villa. Most of our villas have the option of adding a private chef and some already include a chef. See your villa’s page for further details and, if in doubt, contact our team of experts.

  19. Are the villas equipped with air conditioning?

    That depends on the location and time of the year. Some villas offer central air conditioning while others may have additional fans to cool the villas.

  20. Do the villas have a private pool?

    The vast majority of our villas have their own private pools. Occasionally, some may be shared with other guests if the villa is located within a group of other private villas.

  21. Are cribs available in the villas?

    Some villas have cribs already. We can easily arrange this prior to your arrival if you let us know.

  22. Is it possible to include additional guests later?

    Yes, it’s possible, if there is sufficient room in the villa. It might incur an additional cost, especially if an additional bed has to be added to the villa. Check with our villa consultants who will advise the best way forward.

  23. How do I organise transportation for my holiday?

    We offer our clients a full concierge service and are happy to assist you in any way possible. Most of our private villas will include complimentary transfer to and from the airport.   24. Do you offer discounted rates for long stays?

    Yes, sometimes. It depends on the season and length of stay. Please speak to our villa consultants who will advise on the best rates we can offer.

  25. How much privacy will we have at the villas?

    Our villas are mostly secluded and private, which provides guests with the privacy they’re looking for. Some villas are within a resort meaning you get the best of both wolds; a private secluded villas with it’s own private pool, and a resort right outside with restaurant, bar, and main pool area.

  26. Are all villas within walking distance to the beach?

    Well, not exactly. Our villas are spread across many destinations and types of area. Some are on the beachfront, some are walking distance to the beach, and some are on clifftops! Each villa’s page shows it’s location on a map so hopefully you get an idea of it’s surroundings.

  27. Do unicorn exist?

    We sure hope so.

  28. Who cleans the villa? Is the maid included?

    Nearly all villas have a maid included in the price listed, who will clean the property daily.

  29. Is there satellite TV at the villas?

    Most, if not all, villa’s in our collection have TV. Obviously channels vary depending on the location. Remember that we handpick our villas and we wouldn’t offer them to you if we wouldn’t stay there ourselves (and, yes, we like to watch TV occasionally).

  30. Is there Internet/WiFi access at the villas?

    Yes. Almost all of our villas have a WiFi connection that is included with your booking. On the rare occasion that the WiFi is not working we will make other arrangements so you’re kept online.

  31. Are the photos on your website of the exact villa we would be staying in?

    Yes. All of our villas have their own professional photographs that represent that exact property listed. Some of our villas pages also include a floorplan so you can get an idea of they villa layout and size.

  32. Who would be our contact for anything we may need while we are on holiday?

    You will be assigned a personal concierge to assist you with anything and everything during your stay. All you need to do is give them a call or drop them a quick email.

    Every booking is assigned their very own personal concierge who are ready to help organise activities and offer advice when needed.

  35. How do I know that my payment is secure?

    At Asia Holiday Retreats we have various payment methods so you can choose whichever one you are most comfortable with. Payment methods include: Credit Card, Electronic Funds Transfer, Online Payment Gateway, and PayPal. And we can accept payment the following currencies: AUD, CAD, CHF, CNH, EUR, GBP, HKD, IDR, JPY, NZD, SGD, and USD.

    Originally built in the ancient Roman times, a villa was defined as an upper-class country house for the rich and wealthy. Nowadays, villas are considered as private and luxury residences that are larger than normal homes; with their own gardens, vineyards or courtyards, hotel-like services and water fixtures such as swimming pools and fountains. And this is why villas have become the popular choice for holiday home rentals, honeymoons, and wedding parties.

    Yes, of course. Our villa consultants are ready to help you find the ideal villa to match your needs. We have villas ideal for those wishing to hit the golf course. And we have villas near the beach, villas with spa facilities, villas ideal for families with young children and a whole lot more. Just let our villa consultants know what you’re looking for and they’ll send you suitable options very quickly.

  38. What if I’m having such a good time that I don’t want to leave?

    That’s normal guest behaviour. You can speak to our team if you actually wish to extend your stay. Alternatively, you can head home, write us a great review online, and contact us to return again next year. If in fact you refuse to leave the villa and return home, then we will be a shoulder to cry on and escort you to the airport with some tissues.
