Overview

Set like a lighthouse, on rugged rocks at the bottom of a high cliff, Villa Impossibles is a glorious 6 bedroom villa offering brilliant uninterrupted views of the coast and ocean with easy access to several of the best surf breaks in Indonesia. This versatile property can be rented as a whole or individual rooms in a B&B and makes an eclectic destination for a special occasion or a romantic tropical wedding.

The experience, because this villa is an experience not just a house, starts with a climb down steep stairs sliced into the cliff. This adventure is not suitable for the unfit or elderly and brings you eventually to a sandy beach dotted with rocks which is a perfect set off point for ocean activities. Now, don’t worry about getting your luggage down here because porters can be arranged for an a small fee.

Living Areas

The house itself is surrounded by wooden railings and sits literally just above the water, as if it is a ship in dock. The ground floor comprises of a large open plan living area which is split over three levels. At the very back is a well-equipped galley kitchen where the cook will prepare your meals and in front of this is a bar and dining area. On the middle deck are two identical large sofas covered in comfortable cushions, perfect for laying back and taking in the fantastical views that surround this property. At the front, nearest the great blue expanse of the ocean is a sun deck with bean bags, loungers and surf board racks.

There are no TV’s and no phone signal here so you can really connect with the peace and tranquility of your surroundings. There is, however, good internet so you are not totally shipwrecked from reality.

Accommodation

All the bedrooms at Villa Impossibles air-conditioned and have their own ensuite bathrooms with touches of the tropical outdoors. In total there are 2 twin rooms and 2 double rooms. One of each is located on the ground floor along the sundeck from the living area. Above these are another twin and another double. The last rooms are above the kitchen/dining area. All of the rooms on the upper floors have atmospheric thatched roofs and every room has views of the ocean that will give you goose-bumps.

Hospitality

The villa manager, Made, is an excellent surf coach/guide and can arrange any trips or transport you require at extra cost. Breakfast is included with all bookings and meals after that can be selected from a priced menu which includes Indonesian and western fayre or a BBQ option which is great for family groups. Villa Impossibles is further staffed by a cook, his assistant, 3 housekeeping ladies and night time security.

Surroundings

The villa sits sandwiched between incredible surf breaks: right on the doorstep is the famous Impossibles wave, which the villa gets its name from and on on one side is Padang Padang and on the other side of the house, a little way down the coast is Bingan and beyond this is Dreamlands. Even if you don’t surf, the seductive beauty of the location is sure to gift you the experience of a life time.
