Villa Samaki is the ideal tropical hideaway for holiday makers, seeking complete  peace and relaxation, in the hills of beautiful and mystical Ubud. Situated on the outskirts of the traditional Balinese village, Moding, guests will experience living in the the beautiful rain forest environment that surrounds the villa. The centre of Ubud is only 5-10 minutes away where you can explore galleries, ancient temples, amazing restaurants, cafes, lots of yoga studios and maybe experience a traditional cooking class.

Outdoor & Pool Areas

If you want to get back to nature, the outdoor setting at Villa Samaki will help you do just that. The villa sits atop a tropical rain forest ravine overlooking the Capuhan River. The infinity pool appears to disappear into the jungle its cooling waters and river stone tiles make it ultra-inviting, here lay back on a sun lounge and listen to the native birds or retire to the shady bale perched on the edge of the garden, a wonderful spot for alfresco dining day and night.

Living Areas

The villas interiors have a traditional Balinese design theme with exposed timber ceilings, rich timber floor boards, antique timber furnishings. The indoor dining table seats 6 guests with views of the surrounding jungle with masterfully handcrafted timber spiral staircase leading upstairs.

3 Bedrooms

The villas bedrooms feature beautiful four-poster antique timber beds all of which have lovely white netting and comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. The private en-suite bathrooms have large soaking tubs either free standing terrazzo or built-in along with rain showers and twin vanities. The en-suites have large windows and antique doors that open up to offer beautiful views.

Staff & Services

The friendly staff are hospitality experts, they will cook, clean and attend to your every need throughout your entire stay. The staff are well versed in local knowledge of the surrounding areas and Ubud so don’t hesitate to ask for ideas on places to explore.

Location

The villa allows you to experience local village life and local walks will take you through lush rice terraces and surrounding rain forests. Some notable attractions to visit include some great restaurants including Mozaic, Ibu Oka for some suckling pig, Naughty Nuri’s for amazing ribs and if you want the ultra fine dining experience head to the Viceroy Hotel, incredible! Some other enjoyable activities include bike tours, white water rafting, traditional cooking classes and yoga at the Yoga Barn. There is a never ending parade of things to see and do when in Ubud.
