Sepoi Sepoi means ‘Sea Breeze’ and this 6 bedroom villa is aptly named as it sits catching the warm ocean air in four and a half acres of manicured coconut grove on the virgin white sands of the north-west of the island of Lombok, a relatively undiscovered paradise.  This property is an indulgent experience in tropical luxury that delivers a picture-perfect location for a totally unforgettable family holiday or a fairy-tale exotic celebration. Designed by the well-known British architect Jane Taylor this property employs the best of traditional Indonesian structures and materials throughout giving it a beautifully authentic feel.

This exclusive island sanctuary centres on an elegant courtyard which extends westwards through a vast living pavilion with pillared sides, open to the incredible balmy air and housed under a tall thatched roof to the 20 metre infinity pool and beyond to Sira Beach. The living area has luxury suede sofas and a projector screen for alfresco movie nights. Wifi is available throughout.

Adjacent to this is another identical pavilion containing a massive teak dining table, perfect for sampling the delights prepared for you by the skilled chef here, just one of the delightful team employed to ensure your every whim is met. There is direct access to this area from the large, contemporary, fully equipped kitchen where it is possible to take part in cookery demonstrations and have a go at preparing local favourites under chef’s watchful eye.

At the rear of the kitchen there is a further TV room with swooping ceiling fans featuring satellite TV, a DVD player, Nintendo Wii and a library. This can be converted into a child’s bedroom for larger parties.

Poolside surrounded by the spectacular nature of the manicured gardens, the cabana bar offers a great spot for afternoon cocktails and there are plenty of loungers for a spot of sunbathing.  A large thatched bale creates a shady place to laze in the cool with a book and appreciate the peace and tranquillity of your island dream.

All of the bedrooms have their own sophisticated themed design but stay true to the earthy tones and textures which dominate the villas style. They are all extensive and each room is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans, ensuites and a safe. Mosquito nets are also available. Garden bedrooms, on the eastern side of the villa, back on to the natural vista of a private orchard and the rest overlook the sea.

There is a full complement of staff at the villa who will discretely and professionally take care of you and the property during your stay. This includes an experienced villa manager, butlers, a chef, 2 housekeeping ladies, gardeners, a pool attendant and security. A car and driver can be organised at a reasonable daily rate if you wish to explore some of the gems this island has to offer. This might be exploring timeless villages famed for their handicrafts or for the more adventurous, a hike up Mount Rinjani or to one of the spectacular waterfalls. There is also some stunning snorkelling and scuba diving around the reefs of the close by Gili Islands.
