Three deluxe bedrooms host up to six guests, and each has a unique location and arrangement in the villa. You’ll find traditional Balinese open plan living, high exposed timber ceilings, beautiful furnishings, and all the modern conveniences to make your life easy. It’s a perfect destination for families, honeymooners, or group holidays.

Villa Songket is surrounded by rice fields and tropical greenery in the traditional village of Umalas. Minutes away are the famous beaches of Seminyak and the upscale shopping, dining, and nightlife of Petitenget and Oberoi. 3 Bedrooms

The master bedroom is separated from the main house along the side of the pool. It hosts a plush king bed, complete with mosquito netting, soft linens in the royal purple colours of the room, and of course pool views. On the ground floor of the main house, a second large bedroom with an orange colour scheme is also home to a plush king bed with mosquito netting and comfy bedding. Upstairs is the aqua bedroom, which hosts two comfortable twin beds, and has a private balcony overlooking the pool and gardens.

All the bedrooms are equipped with cold air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep things cool. The bedrooms all include end tables with matching lamps, digital safes, and writing desks. The decor is tasteful and carefully chosen to accent the colour themes in each room, creating a relaxing environment conducive to deep sleep. If you like to watch your favourite shows in bed, there are TV’s with DVD Players, and fast WiFi, available in all bedrooms.

Ensuite semi-outdoor bathrooms come with each bedroom. If you’d like to take a relaxing soak, there’s a big stone bathtub in the master bath you will enjoy. The other two bathrooms are equipped with outdoor monsoon showers set amongst tropical plants and sky views. The well-appointed rooms include all the necessities for daily cleanliness and lots of little touches that create a serene beauty not often experienced.

Living Area

You’ll feel like royalty in the spacious open plan living area. Tropical breezes circulate through the large open glass doors under the high roof, pushed calmly along by the ceiling fan. Two large Balinese statues stand at either side of the flat screen TV with cable and a DVD Player. There’s also surround sound and WiFi to complete the entertainment experience. The living area’s comfortable day beds and thatched chairs are great seating for movie night or fun conversation among your guests.

There’s a modern kitchen with breakfast bar at the ready for you, night or day. Try your hand at preparing an Indonesian recipe, and serve up a big feast at the solid timber dining table. Up to ten people can dine there in luxury with fantastic views of the pool and gardens. The kitchen has everything you need to be Bali top chef or just a hungry person in need of a late night snack.

Pull up a lounger on the pool deck and soak in the rays, or share some tropical drink concoctions with friends. Take a swim in the eleven-meter pool to cool off from the tropical heat. There’s a covered relaxation pavilion with a cushy mattress perfect for napping, reading, or a morning yoga practice. The private outdoor area is enticingly surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowers.

Staff

The friendly Villa Songket staff will be on hand to deliver a worry-free experience to you and your guests. Daily housekeeping and gardening will keep the indoor and outdoor of the villa clean as a whistle. Security keeps you safe and sound. We’ll greet you with a smile and a welcome drink when you arrive. If you need to make arrangements for transportation, tours of Bali, a massage, or babysitting; please ask the helpful staff and they’ll be happy to make all the arrangements.

Location

Villa Songket is in the village of Umalas in the greater Seminyak district. It’s a traditional village dotted with green rice fields and tropical foliage that captures the beauty of Bali. Nearby the villa you’ll find a fully stocked convenience store for quick stop shopping. A few doors down is Monsieur Spoon, a French patisserie that’s a great place for a croissant and tea. Enjoy a classic sunset over the rice fields around the corner at Nook or Warung Hotei.

The fine dining, trendy boutiques, and famous beaches of Seminyak are just a ten-minute drive away. Try out the latest gastronomical crazes at world class restaurants such as Sarong, Metis, or Sardine. Hit the sands at Seminyak Beach, and enjoy a pitcher of sangria from the comfort of a beanbag at La Plancha. Take a surf lesson, or just walk the beach with a special someone and enjoy the views.
