Overview

The banks of a meandering river winding through the village of Umulas plays host to an impeccable five-bedroom holiday home with a vast garden and a beautiful 20 meter swimming pool as its centrepiece, Villa Theo. Two Javanese traditional Joglo houses and a modern building house the 5 bedrooms and living areas. The villa is fully staffed and situated only 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Seminyak’s restaurants and nightlife.

Living Areas

The main “joglo” pavillion where the living area is situated is constructed with old teak wood and soaring ceilings are designed to depict a mountain. Antique timber and stone ornaments along with carefully chosen works of art adorne the living areas and bedrooms. Antique solid timber furnishings including a grand 10 seater dining table fill the open air spaces looking over the manicured zoisa grass to the inviting swimming pool and it’s sun lounges.

Accommodation

5 bedrooms comfortably sleep 10 guests. The immaculate bedrooms feature private open air showers and two of the rooms feature open-air stand alone bathtubs. With cable TV in all rooms, air-conditioning, large comfortable beds and ornate furnishings they provide the perfect sanctuary for rest and relaxation.

Hospitality

The Villa can comfortably accommodate four couples, family groups, girls’ getaway or guys on a golfing holiday, wanting to share the accommodation costs. There is plenty of space and the facilities will ensure everyone is comfortable.  Villa staff pride themselves on delivering service that is warm and attentive. Housekeeping and villa maintenance are pleased to serve and maintain a well-run household providing support delivered with grace and tradition Villa Theo’s manager and team are more than happy to address any questions or inquiries guests may have in order to ensure your stay with us as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Surrounding Areas

Umalas bordering Seminyak is a peaceful area and has a village atmosphere just 5 minutes away from busy Petitenget. Amongst the rice fields beautiful Villas and Houses are mixed with local houses, warungs and shops. Rice paddies surround cafes and bars, this is a quieter area. Horse stables where visitors are welcome to have a look around and children can ride ponies or enjoy a swim in the pool. It’s a great area to stay.
