Overview
Villa Inka Ubud – A Tropical Estate of Heritage Elegance and Immersive Nature
Conceived by the late Made Wijaya — Bali’s most celebrated tropical garden designer and architect — Villa Inka delivers a rare composition of cultural richness, dramatic landscape design and tasteful luxury. Spread across 2,800 sqm of Kedewatan’s untamed greenery, this double-pavilion residence cascades gracefully down the terrain, revealing Indonesian-inspired architecture, thoughtfully curated antiques, and an enchanting jungle-framed garden at every turn.
The villa features three serene bedrooms, an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the gorge, and a standalone dining quarter. Traditional thatched roofs, palatial ceiling heights and open-air living zones blend modern comfort with Bali’s aristocratic past, creating a setting that feels both grand and deeply personal.
Just minutes from Campuhan Ridge Walk, Monkey Forest, and Ubud’s vibrant cafés, Villa Inka offers privacy without isolation — an immersive estate retreat set within walking distance of Ubud’s most iconic experiences.
Design & Living Spaces
The main pavilion houses an extraordinary top-floor infinity living lounge — an open 360° vantage point above the canopy, appointed with hand-carved wooden furniture, museum-grade artifacts and generous lounging areas for gatherings or quiet repose. Adjacent, a stand-alone dining pavilion features a fully equipped kitchen and semi-outdoor dining under soft tropical light.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
A dedicated pavilion hosts the palatial master suite, complete with four-poster king bed, walk-in wardrobe, study nook, large verandah and indulgent semi-open bathroom. Two further bedrooms rest on the ground floor of the main pavilion — a king suite and an interlinked twin — each with private ensuite, garden access and resort-style amenities.
Gardens & Outdoor Ambience
Made Wijaya’s signature landscape design takes centre stage — lush palms, towering trees and flowering jungle plants cradle stone paths, water features and lawn terraces. The infinity pool sits suspended above Ubud’s ravine foliage, while a parallel lily pond and wooden walkway lend poetic rhythm to the courtyard axis.
Location
Nestled in the village of Kedewatan — famed as Ubud’s greenest enclave — Villa Inka places cultural highlights, adventure outings and culinary stops within easy reach. From whitewater rafting on the Ayung River to cafés like Pison and Milk & Madu, and to landmarks such as Tegalalang Rice Terraces and Campuhan Ridge Walk, the villa is ideally positioned for immersive exploration. Seminyak, Tanah Lot, and Ngurah Rai International Airport are within comfortable driving distance.
Villa Inka is for travelers seeking more than accommodation — it is a refined estate where Balinese heritage, tropical dramaturgy and a profound sense of place converge into a singular Ubud experience.
