Your first moments at Villa Bodhi will be spent in absolute awe. Nestled up in the highlands of Bukian Village, Villa Bodhi provides guests with a wonderful Bali experience.  The property accommodates up to 10 adults and is made up of four bedrooms, a dining area and a living area all contained in private cottages. It’s the perfect setting for a heavenly wedding or honeymoon but will also suit vacationers looking for a special place that will leave lasting memories.

Villa Bodhi invites you to enjoy a luxurious Balinese experience from the moment you arrive and take a sip of the welcome drink that was lovingly brewed with fresh hibiscus blossoms. During the day, you’ll enjoy a daily breakfast made by the staff at before sauntering down to float blissfully in the vast, salt-water infinity pool. The stunning pool overlooks a valley with dense foliage and provides guests with gorgeously green views. By night, we guarantee that you’ll be stargazing and listening to the invigorating sounds of the jungle. There’s simply no better way to enjoy an extraordinary Bali experience.

Living Areas

In a large Joglo-style pavilion you’ll find the living area. The open-plan room is spacious and airy but exudes coziness and a lovely rustic feel owed to the hand-carved wooden elements, solid coffee tables, fresh flowers and exotic rugs. The living area overlooks the infinity pool and is the ideal place to retire to in between dips. Guests will love lounging on the numerous daybeds adorned with colorful pillows while they enjoy the tropical breeze and the echo of the Gamelan music from Hindu ceremonies in a nearby village.

The dining area at Villa Bodhi is housed in a separate, large Joglo. It’s furnished with a gorgeous dining table that seats up to 10 adults comfortably and overlooks a charming fishpond with lily pads and lotuses. This grand dining area is the perfect setting for an extravagant meal cooked by the personal chef you can request. There’s also an expansive, well-tended garden area that includes a bed of fresh herbs and vegetables which guests can help themselves to.

4 Bedrooms

The Jaya room is contained in a two-story cottage with a balcony that looks over the lawn. Upstairs, you’ll find a cozy bedroom decorated with gorgeous exotic rugs, pillows and a deluxe, four-poster bed with a mosquito net for extra privacy and comfort. The floors are parquet and the large ceiling-to-floor windows allow ample amounts of light in while providing guests with gorgeous views of the outside area.

The stunning en-suite bathroom contains an ivory-colored stone tub for soaking as well as a high-pressure shower. Downstairs is a small seating area comprising of a table and chairs so that guests can read the newspaper or catch up on a spot of work. The downstairs area has an additional dazzling outdoor bathroom for guests to use should the one upstairs be occupied.

Little stone steps lead up to the Laba room, an exquisite bedroom suite that overlooks the pool and valley below. Here you’ll find a comfortable, elegant bedroom furnished with a lovely four-poster bed. The bathroom also contains an impressive standing stone tub and features beautifully hand-carved wooden shutters. This room is right on the edge of the property, providing guests with a high degree of discretion and awe-inspiring views.

The Sri and Menala room both contain two single beds and are perfect for younger children or friends sharing a room. The quaint wooden joglo-style rooms come with their own stunning ensuite bathrooms. Both cottages are very spacious and were decorated with a charming rustic touch. All the bedrooms at Villa Bodhi are fully air-conditioned with a mini-fridge and a safety box.

Staff

The staff at Villa Bodhi is hospitable, discrete and extremely professional. You’ll be well looked after by the housekeeping staff, villa manager and gardener. You’re also welcome to arrange extra services such as a masseuse, private chef, babysitters and much more. Just ask your villa manager, he’ll be more than happy to arrange things for you.

Location in Ubud

Nestled over the high landscape of Bukian village, guests will appreciate the absolute serenity and breathtaking views offered at Villa Bodhi. If you’re looking for a little more excitement, you’re in luck – the property is only a 20-minute drive from Ubud, the art and culture capital of Bali. Here you can visit the Agung Rai Museum of Art, take cooking classes or see traditional Balinese dances in the evenings. Ubud provides endless excitement for those looking for an authentic Bali experience.

Spend the day scouting some 11^th Century Elephant Caves, exploring the sacred monkey forest and trekking through the famous Tegallalang rice terraces. End the day by stopping at Bebek Tapi Sawah and enjoying traditional Bebek Goreng (Fried duck) with its delicious accompanying sambals. We suggest you wash it all down with some teh manis (sweet tea) and have a spot of bubur pulut hitam (sweet black rice porridge with coconut milk) for dessert.
