This incredible 4 bedroom Uluwatu villa holiday rental is nestled beside its sister property on the astonishing limestone cliffs of the southernmost tip of Bali with impressive views over the Indian Ocean. Designed by award-winning Singaporean architect, Ernesto Bedmar this property blends contemporary luxury with the authenticity of traditional local materials creating an outstanding, exotic hideaway. This is the perfect spot for a special event, a corporate retreat or a memorable family holiday.

Built over three levels the accommodation beautifully incorporates recycled ironwood pillars, Merbau-wood roofs, and walls of Palimanan stone. Within its luxurious walls are lotus ponds, plentiful terraces, an air-conditioned living space, and a private infinity pool with dramatic sea views and a gym with a massage room.

The living area is in a spacious light filled pavilion with a wall of sliding glass doors that open out onto a large terrace overlooking the pool and the glittering ocean beyond. Inside the cool, air-conditioned space are two deep cream sofas, a pair of retro rattan chairs and a large black marble coffee table. To one side is a matt-black cabinet concealing a 42-inch TV with a DVD player and Sonos sound system. And for those decadent holiday meals, cooked curtesy of the skilled chef who caters to every taste, there is a massive marble topped table with seating for 10.

A great spot for a sunset BBQ or any alfresco feast is offered up by a covered pergola terrace with a teak table and plentiful seating and more wondrous views. The delicious waters of the infinity pool offer up the best place on the property to cool off and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and a number of comfortable sun loungers invite total relaxation.

The master suite sits between the swimming pool and the edge of the cliff and has an enormous ironwood deck with a 180 degree breath-taking ocean view which invites dreams of adventures on the high seas. A soaring vaulted ceiling houses an emperor-size four poster bed and there is a comfy sofa in one corner which potentially can be pulled down as a children’s bed. This room is served by a bathroom with a twin vanity unit, ceramic bathtub, a wall of well-designed wardrobes and both indoor and outdoor rain showers looking over the ocean.

All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned, decked out with bespoke furniture, TV’s/ DVD players and have a calming grey and white palette. The further 3 guest suites are situated on a level below the swimming pool and all have king size beds which can be split into two singles depending on the preferences of the guests. One of the rooms has a prime ocean view with a large deck looking onto the courtyard which is accessible form the gym. The other rooms look onto a charming lotus pond within a walled garden. All of the rooms are ensuite featuring statement bathtubs, vanity units and separate showers.

This property, as part of the Soham Ocean Estate, shares a team of 10 staff, including a villa manager, villa attendants, chef, gardener, engineer and security. The talented chef provides an extensive suggested menu including Balinese, Indonesian, Asian and Western favourites as well as children’s dishes and a spectacular BBQ option.
