Loved Our Stay Here
We absolutely loved our stay here! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This Seminyak three-bedroom Villa Matahari architecture, is a sweet mix of traditional Bali and old Mediterranean design style, with its black and white window and doorway arches, offering guests a relaxing oasis close to the centre of vibrant Seminyak with its restaurants, cafes, shops, and nightlife. Walk through the entrance archway to find a garden sanctuary with a refreshing pool, water features, sunbeds, and alfresco dining.
Upon entering through glass doors, guests are greeted by open-plan dining, kitchen, and living spaces, with a massive 75”, 60 channel Satellite TV on the far wall, plus one bedroom with ensuite, and, twin curved staircases of polished wood, leading up to the first floor, where a full-size pool table awaits, with a further two luxurious bedrooms, both also complimented with private bathrooms.
Living, dining, and kitchen
The ground floor features a 6-seater wood dining table, with the open equipped kitchen behind, providing easy service access, while 2 large gray sofas with coffee table take center stage, and attached to the right-side wall features a massive 75” flat-screen TV, with comfy chairs ready for the game to commence, with plenty of ceiling fans circulating a cooling breeze.
The glass windows look out over the pool and gardens, affording guests easy supervision of children. Behind the sofas is a grand twin curved staircase that leads up to the 1st floor, boasting a full-sized pool table, more sofas, an outside balcony accessed by arched windows curving around the living space, plus two more bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms.
Bedrooms
The twin bedroom occupies the far corner of the ground floor, which can be converted to a queen-size bed if needed, with an ensuite bathroom, that brags a huge headboard mirror, and large TV resting on a Chinese wooden cabinet, tastefully decorated with elegant chair, side table and woven baskets. The ensuite bathroom features a shower and washbasin with ample space for amenities and personal belongings. The lavatory can also be used by villa guests, but the occupants of this room can lock the door leading to their bathroom, ensuring their chamber’s privacy.
The other two bedrooms featuring queen-size beds are both situated upstairs, following similar interiors with Chinese hanging wardrobes on either side of the bed, one with a large mirror headboard, carpeted floors, each with a safety box, and large TV’s. Their ensuite bathrooms include a shower, washbasin, and lavatory with plenty of space for personal items.
Entertainment
The huge 75” TV on the ground floor is, without a doubt, a show-stopper, complimented with 60 channels with heaps of sport, and separately a huge Bluetooth speaker to connect music. Upstairs, the full-sized pool table is surrounded by more sofas and a balcony that overlooks the pool and gardens, while each of the bedrooms have large TV’s, and the villa is served with complimentary fast internet. Underneath the staircases, in a separate small room, can be found an old multigym which the owners welcome guests to use.
Pool and Gardens
The shallow end of the pool gently slopes down to the 1.8m deep end, which has a step surrounding the edge so all ages can stand and chat inside the pool. There are two sun loungers and an ample Palimanian tiled deck to rest and relax, plus a covered table and 4 chairs for potential alfresco dining.
Staff
Guests will be greeted by the Villa Manager who has vast experience looking after guests, and can assist with arranging tours, booking restaurants, fixing problems, translating, or just providing insights into all the workings of our beautiful island. The Villa Matahari housekeeper will keep the villa clean and tidy, prepare guests breakfast according to the menu provided, and make sure all guests’ needs are met with a happy smile. There is also a nighttime security guard on duty from 6pm to 6am. We are justly proud that most of our reviews feature guests’ adoration of our well-trained staff.
Location
Villa Matahari is set back from Jl Drupadi, just steps away from Lacalita a nearby Mexican restaurant & bar, and a plethora of other cafes and spas. Guests can saunter up to Jl Laksmana where there are the best shopping, bars, and eateries that Seminyak has to offer. The newly opened sports bar, the GOAT, plus a firm favorite La Favela nightclub, are a few minutes’ walk away, while the beach is a leisurely 10-minute stroll, either to Ku De Ta day club, or, in the opposite direction, turning left outside the front gate, to Legian Beach on Jl Dyana Pura. There Is so much to do and see, whether our guests are 5 years old or 70, this Seminyak luxury villa has everything anyone could possibly want with great staff on hand to assist in every way. Ngurah Rai International Airport is less than a 45 minute drive, and transfers can be arranged by the villa staff.
