Overview

The Layar is a cluster of 23 individual villas offering world class design and architecture accompanied with five-star service provided by 100+ staff. Each villa offers modern architecture with ultra-chic interiors, large gardens and the architects’ signature sloping rooves. Villas range from one to four bedroom configuration with their own private pool.

Living Areas

The dramatically sloping ironwood-shingle rooves are a feature of the villa encompassing the living areas and providing a truely unique aesthetic. The split level, light-flooded living area features a huge open air space. At one end of the living space is a raised dining area, beyond which is a breakfast bar and the fitted kitchen. Beyond the manicured lawn is a large swimming pool with a separate jacuzzi at one end and a spa with massage room and shower at the other. Entertainment: Satellite TV and DVD/CD player in the living area or media room and in all bedrooms; iPod dock.

Accomodation

Three king sized bedrooms and one twin comfortably sleeps 8 guests.  Discreetly tucked off the living room in the main villa are the three large, air-conditioned, king-sized guest bedrooms. The master and guest bedroom suites are on separate sides of the vast living area. The king sized master bedroom with sliding doors features an en-suite with a large bathtub, shower and double basins, and features a private garden. The guest rooms are equally as well appointed with en-suite bathrooms.

Hospitality

A team of 80 staff, including an estate manager, chefs, cooks, service staff, 24-hour receptionist, daily housekeeping staff, maintenance engineers and security ensures the smooth running of The Layar Villa estate.
